  • 2nd December 2005 — In reply to recent acts of censorship carried out by psychiatrists and psychologists which, during a meeting aimed at «giving voice» to the users, silenced Tristano's intervention in which he reminded the historical event of The Foucault Tribunal on the state of Psychiatry (organized in 1998 by ex-users survivors of psychiatry), Tristano — invited by the Social Club Circolo Café Neruda, in Turin — presented during the meeting DIONISO E DIESSEMME the denouncing speech «The Foucault Tribunal: The Ignored Users’ Voice»

  • 10th March 2006 — Tristano in occasion of the meeting Il grido nel deserto dei malati indifesi (The outcry in the desert of the defenceless sick), delivered the speech «Mirages And Hopes in Mental Health» presenting the italian edition of Ken Steele's book The Day The Voices Stopped and encouraging other psychiatric survivors to narrate their own biography.

  • 14th October 2006 — Tristano Ajmone presents at the WAPR IX° World Congress, in Athens, the speech A Call to Heresy in the Age of Madness, where he invites mental health professionals to rethink psychosocial rehabilitation in a frame which is more respectful of individual liberty and human rights.
